About me

Dear Sir or Madam,

I began my career as a Junior designer at Johnston Press plc in 2001.

Working on four separate regional titles I gained design experience in all aspects of advertising within the publications as well as a range of marketing and promotional campaigns for the newspapers themselves.

Over time, I progressed to become a senior designer for Johnston Press. Ultimately taking responsibility of the studio, the role required me to train and encourage junior designers as well as managing the studio workload for Bedfordshire Newspapers.

Having worked for the company for over four years I progressed onto a position at Motivaction plc.This move gave me the opportunity to use my skills in different way. The focus here being largely on marketing, brand identity and corporate promotion. Within this role I was able to achieve a number of things including being very instrumental in winning the company many pitches for new business. In addition I found myself designing a multitude of different things from corporate party invitations, to massive backdrops to stages at company conferences. This job helped me to develop greatly in many varied areas of Graphic Design.

Due to moving house I was forced to leave this company after a year and to seek employment elsewhere. It was at this time I began working at BIG Marketing which is where I am currently employed.
