Dear Sir /Madam

I am writing to express my interest in the role advertised for an Graphic Designer as seen on creativepool through indeed.

As you can see from my attached CV, I have many experience in a corporate/agency environment as a successful Senior designer. Currently I am unemployed following redundancy from my last company when it went into receivership, but I wish to return to work. I have spent the last year working on various freelance projects as well as keeping up to date with my skills set.

In my previous roles at thomsonlocal I achieved a number of notable successes, including; Early in my career I was chosen as a member of the team made responsible for the first major redesign of the directory which gave rise to a big leap in sales revenue - a team which subsequently won the top sales award for that year in recognition of our major contribution to the company's profit margins. This led me to be picked to run the designers team responsible for their largest high value spending customers in their National Sales Department. Then I was moved to the Marketing Department where I was responsible for all of their graphic output both internally and externally - producing their first mobile app designs, designing their first bus and underground advertising initiatives and finally their move into html email campaigns.
