Dear Sir/Madam

Please find attached my CV for the role of Creative Designer.

I completed my industrial design degree gaining a high 2:1 Master of Design (MDes) from Coventry University in 2011. I have worked with Adobe CS4 for a number of years and I am a confident user of Photoshop and illustrator as well as other design-based software packages. I have had the experience of working in a number of design roles, ranging from placements in a head office merchandising position to automotive design studios.

Currently I am working in a busy design studio using Adobe CS4 to produce mood boards, schemes for client presentations, branding and stationery. In addition, I work with architects and project managers to produce detailed CAD which must be precise and accurate. On a placement prior to this, I have worked with the marketing and merchandising team of a leading retailer in relation to the design of a new store concept. I enjoyed the pressure and excitement that working in a head office team offers.

To support my studies and placements, I worked as a Restaurant Supervisor in a busy 90 cover restaurant. While occupying this role for eight years it gave me the experience of managing a team, working to strict boundaries and developing a professional working ethos while at all times maintaining a professional approach to every day tasks.
