Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find an attached copy of my CV for your consideration. I believe I would be an excellent candidate for this vacancy as it closely matches my skills and experience. Which I've gained through both my academic studies within Media Production, as well as my freelance work under Virtuosic Media. Evidence of which can be seen through Virtuosic's YouTube channel or within my show-reel, which are both listed on my CV. I believe my passion and creativity within media and my specialist fields of video editing/cinematography will make me a great asset to your company. Whilst on the job I will be able to improve on the skills I already posses and adapt them to suit the broadcasting needs of HighStreet TV. Through out my life I've had a great passion for the film and TV industry, due to my line of study and my enthusiasm towards the subject, I've developed a broad knowledge of broadcasting platforms throughout my studies and freelance work. I posses in-depth knowledge of DSLR cameras, three point lighting as well as being fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite specifically Premiere and After Effects, as well as Final Cut Pro. I also posses a great deal of knowledge within colour correction. I've also had digital media experience generated through my studies and personal time, which will prove vital in regards to the green screening requirements. I also hold a keen interest in innovativity that relies within digital media, alongside my experience in VFX work and title sequence on films, I believe, this will also prove beneficial to your company and essential to the role at hand when creating the motion graphics required. I've always considered myself as a team player, I excel in a fast paced environment and I like a challenge. I've also been known to have a great eye for detail, which I believe would help me excel within this job role. I consider myself to have strong communication skills, whilst also having a strong mentality which I believe will assist me in the teamwork required, and also aid me when liaising with the head of production and also with the US editing team. I take a lot of pride in what I do and I withhold an open mind, always producing new ideas and concepts, which is essentially why I set up my own self employed project, Virtuosic Media to capture these ideas in my spare time. I would love nothing more than to be given the opportunity to become part of your team at HighStreet TV.
