About me

I am an Interior/Product Designer and am writing with regard to your recent advertised vacancy.

Since graduating in Product Design in 1996, I have worked in many 2d & 3d Design disciplines; i.e. Product, Branding (3d packaging), Graphics, hi-end interiors, offices, restaurants and exhibitions - interior and exterior work.

I am looking to further my career and develop my skills. I believe I have a lot to offer any employer, both in terms of my current abilities and future potential. I am meticulous in my approach and ensure completion to a high standard.

I have a good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes and try to keep up to date with new technologies. I am fluent with Mac or PC and fully versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, Vectorworks and capable of detailed CAD drawing or hand sketching and rendering. I also have experience of building websites and marketing/brand development.

I consider myself to be a hands-on and intuitive Designer capable of working with a team or under my own motivation. I am comfortable whether it be client facing or mocking up prototypes in the workshop.

I believe I have what it takes to fulfil this position. If my skill base does not meet your requirements, but you are impressed by my design ability and attention to detail, I'd be prepared to take a slightly lesser salary until up to speed.
