About me

I became interested in design, motion graphics and video editing during my first year of university, when I started to integrate my love of graphics into the short films I created. This way of working continued throughout my BA into my work within the video post production industry, eventually leading me to study this at MA level. A career designing and producing graphics appeals to these long standing interests, and I feel is a role that would allow me to work creatively and see projects through from start to finish.

I come from an advanced academic, analytical and practical background having gained a first class honours in BA Design: Media Production at Staffordshire university and more recently completing and achieving an MA in Digital Art at Norwich University College of Art. Sandwiched between these two degrees I have 2 years experience working within the post production industry, initially as a runner before working my way up to a role within the same company that combined online/offline edit assisting and graphic design responsibilities. This role required the need for workplace skills in communication with management, client understanding and effective time management. During this time I brought my knowledge of editing and design software up from university level to an understanding on a industry level and began working more intensely with graphics software. I believe my key strengths lie in working alongside others at the creative ideas stage all the way through the production of the work.
