Dear Sir,

I am an experienced Industrial Designer that can take a product idea from initial concept sketch through to detailed engineering design. I have worked with Electronics engineers, Mechanical engineers, Ergonomists, Software programmers and Sales Marketing in a multi-disciplinary team. I have a wide range of design for manufacture experience. I have developed products using injection moulded plastics, vacuum forming, electronic/mechanical assemblies, and laser cut mild steel part/ assemblies (flat pattern DXF) and rapid prototyping SLA, FDM. I can produce product mock-ups and full scale presentation models in a variety of materials. I have used Solidworks since 1998 producing full engineering drawings, photo-realistic renders and animations used for sales and marketing. I have combined Photoworks renders with Photoshop CS4 to produce real world product images. My design skills are also enhanced with a solid background in electronics as a qualified Engineering Technical Officer.
