Dear Sir/Madam,
Please find attached my CV in response to the advertised position of Presentation Designer.
I feel I would be well suited to this role due to my long experience in creating PowerPoint presentations and infographics, alongside a wide variety of other visual and written promotional material.
Most recently, as a freelance marketing communications copywriter and infographics designer, creating industry progress reports, white papers and visual marketing material on industry specific issues. I would be delighted to send on some examples of my recent work in this field.
Previous to this, I gained valuable experience at the heart of the corporate communications team at the global healthcare company Alliance Boots (now Walgreens Boots Alliance), where I was responsible for creating PowerPoint presentations for senior executives.
Both of these roles have required a high level of attention to detail and creativity, while maintaining the appropriate corporate branding and house style, creating original, clear graphics and presentations that succeeded in getting the message across to both internal and external audiences.
I feel my experience here also gave me the confidence and personal skills needed to work effectively and efficiently alongside senior executives in a high-pressure, international environment.
I am of course highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, in addition to the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.
I speak fluent Italian, and previous to the roles mentioned above, have successfully undertaken a variety of journalistic, copywriting and translation roles while living and working abroad in both Europe and Asia.
