About me

I think of myself as a visual communicator and my training and self directed learning has been a way of gaining the various technical skills to communicate across different media. I love visual ideas and concepts, thinking of them, implementing them and seeing them -ideas are the currency of the designer. In my experience my ideas generally spring forth from that old skool technology, the pencil and paper and that this type of visual realisation is the mother of all creative endeavour.

I have a degree in visual communication specialising in illustration and also a HND in graphic design with multi media. I also have a web training certificate and a 2d design software BTEC award and I am always teaching myself through the wonder of the internet. I am well versed over the twelve years since graduating in all programs from the Adode creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Flash and Dreamweaver etc.) and front and back end web design though my speciality is more towards the front end- I do not regard myself as a programmer/web developer.
