About me
Kenndy Kyalo is an accomplished illustrator and has been illustrating
professionally for five years. Kennedy's passion for illustration is rooted in his
belief that illustration is an effective tool in communicating ideas in a fun way.
A graduate with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Maseno University,
he is a self-taught artist who exhibits a strong desire to learn, improving his style
and building a rich vocabulary of ways to communicate effectively with visual
content, among them animation.
Since joining ZanaAfrica in 2016, his role sees him producing creative work to
convey relevant adolescent reproductive health messaging through visual
storytelling for the Nia Teen Magazine.
Previously, he has worked at Nailab (Techsahara), Well Told Story (Shujaaz),
Bingwa Magazine (bingwa) and Word Alive Publishers, producing illustrated
content, which was pivotal in the success of the various publications.
His interests are embedded in art, but he also enjoys exploring the tech world,
animation and music.
