About me

I am a Senior Digital Designer/Art Director with over 15 years of digital design experience across multiple industries working with many high end companies. I have worked both in-house, agency side and platform side. This has given me extensive knowledge of the full digital process including product strategy, product design and FE Dev, responsive and adaptive sites, day to day site content and campaigns, e-marketing, social media design, CMS systems, usability and trading.

I enjoy branding and can picture the look and feel of a brand quickly and effectively. My understanding of both Brand and UI helps me to translate brand concepts into working Digital Brand style guides from full site components to typography to interactions with the understanding of FE development to make sure designs are capable and achievable.

Bridging the gap between Brand and UX/UI and FE Development has become very important me. I have experience in all these fields and think that a lot of information falls lost in these gaps. I have a ability to talk the language of both a creative and a developer which helps achieve a product which maintains concept throughout it's process.

I have good UX skills and have experience is translating detailed projects specs into wireframes and prototypes for user testing and eventual design.

I am very experienced with Creative Suite and Sketch and nearly all prototyping/preview tools.

I am prolific in HTML, HTML5, CSS3.

I have had the pleasure to manage and lead some great talent throughout my career and enjoy the comradely it brings. I've gotten to work with some truly talented people and made some great friends along the way. The most important aspect of how I work is being able to work collaboratively. I believe the best results are achieved with strong teams of experts all working together to achieve something that is greater than the sum of it's parts.
