About me

21 years experience within the Graphic Communications Industry spanning; Creative, Account Relations, Page Production, Business Process, VSM, Continuous Improvement to Lean / 6 Sigma principles & Photography.

My early roles ranged from Designer to Reprographic Technician, progressing into senior management with the UK's largest / Europe's 2nd largest Home Shopping Groups. Working out of the Head Office, across a number of business areas, I started my career with them as a Business Analyst, moving on to Creative Infrastructure Manager, Trading Operations Manager and ultimately the Photographic Studio Manager role. All senior management roles have allowed me to engage and work at Director level for the past 10 years, looking at ways to deliver business requirements and improve business practices including: facilitation of High Level Value Streams (VSM) for strategic planning, logistical requirements, best practice for internal & external customers, staff requirements, role types & skill sets required across many levels within the business.

I am used to business pressures, working / managing large teams, presenting to large audiences, change management, budget control, sourcing/purchasing of equipment required to fulfil set-up of new business areas, both internal or external builds for the business. I also have experience of setting up processes to deliver time, cost, quality (TCQ) benefits by improving working practices internally or externally with suppliers.

I have worked out of Liverpool, London, Slough, Basingstoke and Windsor, I don't mind travel or unsociable hours when required. I am PC and Mac literate, working in all the major Microsoft, Adobe, Quark, Macromedia & Mac applications.

I am passionate about work, loyal, trust worthy, reliable, hard working, proactive, like a challenge, like to be at the forefront of technology, embrace change, methodical in approach, like to work in a team environment, however, can work alone if required.
