Re: Design Studio Manager.

The skills and competencies, which I feel that I can bring to the role and this organisation, include:

Studio, design and account management: Main accountabilities include the co-ordination of creative strategy, corporate ID, brand guardian, art direction and quality assurance, design and artwork production, project management and resource planning, design and brand management, client management: building relationships internal and external with suppliers (external agencies) and clients, and the development of staff. Responsible for team's budget and producing cost effective design from concept through to production.

I lead by example and I am at my best under pressure, I'm a natural collaborator, maintaining a calm and professional focus but at the same time I'm easy to get on with, with loads of energy. I have worked in both agency and corporate side, and I see this is an advantage when working with external internal clients and building relationships.

I'm very good at leading designers and marketing teams through brainstorming sessions on new projects, there's always a solution to a difficult brief, I'm a natural collaborator. I have a proven successful track record as a Studio and Design Manager with a lot of experience of financial and different industries and a thorough understanding of the design, planning, production, compliance within a financial services company and the processes involved to produce high quality work on time and within budget.

As well as strong project management skills and the day to day running of the studio I am also a very talented designer and work hands on with design teams.

Brand: I'm passionate about brand and have a great understanding of how clients buy into a brand and how brands work, can be developed and implemented. I'm proud to be part of the team that has worked on the highly successful re-launch of the LV= brand.

Systems: Server maintenance, back-up systems, digital asset management, time recording (job tracing systems) and maintaining studio digital assets.Fluent in many applications, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks), Quark Xpress, PowerPoint, and Word.
