I am a director, a photographer and a graphic designer. Essentially, I am a professional visual storyteller (and problem solver!)



Over the past 20 years, I have worked on assignment for ad agencies, creative firms, companies and magazines to create emotionally inspiring images — both moving and still.

My specialties are capturing authentic lifestyle images, genuine portraits & graphic still lifes. I create photographs for creative around the globe. Yet, I'm also very involved in strategy to accommodating the client budget while attaining the creative vision.

p.s. I've called many places home including Los Angeles, New York, Boston (where I went to art school,) Portland, Chicago and St. Louis (where I grew up.) When not on the road, San Francisco is where I have hung my hat for the past 19 years. Most of the time we hop on a plane to head to the shoot location. I'd say that ⅓ of our jobs are in LA, NY or Chicago - ⅓ are in a random city close to the client - and ⅓ we shot locally here in the San Francisco bay area.
