About me

I have a wide variety of high quality transferable skills; I can take on responsibilities and can easily multitask. I am a hard working person. Having recently finished University studying Digital Media Production at Arts University College Bournemouth, I am ready to take on a new and challenging role within the working world and think this would be a perfect opportunity for me. I am a confident person and self-driven. With many of my University projects I worked alone to create a final piece. I can also work within a group. As part of a Professional Project at University I was in charge of a small group of students. This was filming and organising a variety of shoots of the fashion students and their work. I really enjoyed being in charge of the organisation side to the production, knowing that the team was running to schedule and came together because of me. This was a huge responsibility as the films were shown at the end of year fashion show and exhibition in an O2 establishment. I have also worked on live events being part of a team being thrown into new situations. This was taking charge of organising interviews and being ready to ask relevant questions whilst they were being filmed. I hugely enjoyed working on these events as my confidence grew knowing that I could handle many different job situations and adapt to them easily. I found it very important to keep a clear head and be organised with tasks that still needed to be dealt with under pressure. It was also important to work well in a team so that tasks flowed smoothly and to the deadline. I am confident with my computer skills and with Word, Excel and also my communication skills.
