About me
I am looking for a career in the Art industry.
I have recently finished my degree in Fine Art Printmaking at Brighton University.I have had experience of marketing, curating and exhibiting at various art establishments and galleries in Brighton and I have a group show in London in July.
I have been doing voluntary work at Phoenix Gallery which involves working in alll aspects of setting up exhibitions, working in art educational workshops and being involved in research and administration.
I have recently worked at the Royal Academy of Art during the Originals Art Fair, where I helped artist Tom Hammick make an edition of 20 prints and demonstrated to the visitors the processes involved in this, also answering any questions visitors had.
Prior to my degree I worked in a school as co ordinator of Art and DT, where I was responsible for lesson plans and the teaching of these to mixed ability classes.
I am a highly motivated person. I work well in a team as well as individually. I relish challenges and have a thirst for learning and feel I would make a valuable contribution to any role I am undertaking.
