About me

Throughout my degree and administrative and retail positions I have gained and developed many skills. I have exceptional organisational skills and am experienced in working under pressure and to tight deadlines. I am also quick to learn as I have picked up specialist computer programmes in a short amount of time such as Auto CAD, Auto CAD Architecture, 3Ds Max and Adobe Photo shop. I am also computer literate in Vision, Microsoft Word and Power Point. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills gained through presentations, tutorial meetings, client meetings, essays, dissertation and past work experience. I am polite, friendly, confident and have excellent customer service skills gained through working in retail and administrative positions. I am a hard working and self motivated person who constantly strives for the best and always set myself goals and targets to be reached. I have excellent problem solving skills as I constantly faced challenging design problems throughout my degree. I have good teamwork skills developed through Interior Technology joint projects and working in different retail teams. I am also very competent at independent work and time management. I have gained good project management skills as during my degree I was lucky enough to work on live projects, giving me experience in initial site visits, meetings with clients, proposals, final design solutions and formal presentations to the clients. Also being entered into the Satellite Brown Bar Competition 2009 was a good experience of the competitive business market. I also have worked as a child minder and Sunday school teacher at Llandaff Cathedral showing that as well as having a professional manner I am a caring and friendly person. Having worked in a Doctors surgery I now have good experience in dealing with emergencies, distressed individuals, language barriers and sensitivity when dealing with confidential patient details.
