Dear Sir / Madam,
I'm writing to you to express my keen interest in applying for the role of Motion / Video Designer at EdenMarsh, as advertised on Creative Pool.
Having worked as a freelance junior designer and animator, I believe I have a strong base of experience and potential which I could build upon going forward to realise the full potential of the role available with you. A highly motivated self-starter with strong interests in interior design and brand designs and creating strong visual pieces, I'm feel that I'm very well organised and able to manage my time well against heavy workloads. These skills are ones I've been able to enhance through my work animating a variety of promo videos for various corporate and music video clients such as Monster Slippers, Pzzapp and the Connor Stephen's Band which have mixed a variety of motion graphic and animation elements.
Each of these projects have also given me a good experience of working to tight deadlines, and mean that I have also had good experience of taking in client briefs and translating them into high quality finished pieces. I also have experience of putting together animatic and storyboard sequences for various projects, and am incredibly passionate about creating quality animated sequences which engage with the video's target audience.
Similarly, each of my previous roles have greatly enhanced my technical abilities. I have a strong knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Photoshop and Premiere Pro and a working knowledge of After Effects and Cinema4D and am able to pick up new softwares very quickly were required, and believe I can draw upon these skills to the benefit of the role available with EdenMarsh.
