About me

I am writing to apply for the Email Design role. I have just graduated from Bournemouth University with a BA Hons in Product Design. As part of my degree I have developed a strong set of skills in Microsoft office and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign which I built on and developed during my placement year and at University. I am currently looking for an entry level job in digital designer/artworking.

As part of my degree I spent a year in industry at a Jewellery Design company in London, where I managed and designed several projects each week and liaised with supplier and clients on a day to day basis, giving me strong written and verbal communication skills. This was a very small company which meant I became very used to coping with stressful situations and juggling a variety of jobs at one time. Working for a small company meant I was able to do a variety of jobs from website and email design to being responsible for the social media and marketing of the company. During this time, I particularly enjoyed the commercial aspects of the role, one of my key achievements whilst working there was increasing the brands following on social media and therefore increasing the company sales.

I have a good work ethic and have worked in all of my summer holidays in various roles in the hospitality sector as well as freelance graphic design work and experience with email and website design.
