About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have just completed my final year at Leeds Metropolitan University studying BA (Hons) in Graphic Arts & Design, and am now seeking a job in design.

I believe I am suitable for the above job position as I not only have the skills required; I also have relevant work experience. My previous placements include Bauer Media, Ebury Press, DK books and most recently The Daily Mirror. These have given me a real insight into the industry and made me realise the passion I hold for designing. I am enthusiastic, and am able to work quickly and well under pressure. I am confident in using Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

In my own work I tend to specialise in book cover and layout design and I also have a keen interest in photography and I feel that this job role would enable me to develop these skills further.
