. I believe that I have the necessary academic and professional experience to make a positive contribution to your organization. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Masters in the social sciences. A professional background in the environmental departments of the European Union and United Nations has given me an in-depth background in energy related issues and I would like to further my career in this area with the private sector. My previous work for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) as Database Coordinator has given me leadership skills and practical experience in project coordination. A traineeship with Directorate-General Environment of the European Commission has endowed me with budget management and organizational skills. I was also responsible for coordinating EU input into the 2006 Commission on Sustainable Development and was superficially involved with the Johannesburg Renewable Energy Coalition.

A history of organizing my professional life in foreign countries has taught me interpersonal skills and three European languages.
