Re: Junior Graphic Designer Position
I am writing in response to your advertisement for a Junior Graphic Designer on . After reviewing the job description and the skills required, I believe I am the right candidate and would consider it a privilege to work within your company.
I moved to the United Kingdom in August last year on a working visa from Melbourne, Australia where I was a graduate of the Communication Design program at Swinburne University of Technology. For the last 5 months I have been completng a full-time internship at Leyland SDM in Dalston predominantly re-designing the POS (Point of Sale) System to rollout across their 17 stores around Central London. There, and through other employment & internships, I have gained thorough experience designing advertising and marketing material including posters, logos, advertisements, brochures, social media graphics and booklets.
I am proficient with industry-standard design software including Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign as well as all Microsoft Office software.
I always strive to deliver an effective, focused and on-target product that fits my clients needs and goals and take great pride in the work I create. I am a reliable, creative and hard-working designer who can work well in a collaborative team environment or individually. I work well with clients and consider myself a strong communicator, presenter and listener. My career goals are to continue to learn and grow my skill-set as a graphic designer while utilising my creativity, knowledge, education and people skills to benefit my employer and I believe the business will provide the ultimate arena to do so.
