About me

My name is Srija Shrestha, a Nepali artist and illustrator, dedicated to creative storytelling through diverse mediums such as zines, comics, Riso prints, cyanotype prints, and illustrated short films. I graduated from Teesside University with an MA in Illustration in 2022. My work engages with themes of mental health and emotional wellbeing, intertwined with the gentle and kind essence of feminine love. Additionally, I explore themes of home, belonging, and identity to remain connected with my roots. My artistic practice often involves presenting personal narratives that delve into the Nepali language and culture while bridging these stories with the universal experience of finding a home away from home.
