About me
I am a freelance print designer with over 12 years experience designing for womenswear and childrenswear. Using a range of techniques from hand drawing and painting to producing digital elements on my iPad, I create fresh, original, commercial designs for a range of clients and products.
I work with clients from the initial stages of their design concept, providing moodboards, colour palettes and trend research as well as print collection development or creating single custom-designed artworks. Understanding each brand, their aesthetic and their customer is a really important part of the design process.
As a designer I draw inspiration from all sorts of places. As well as obvious sources such as runway shows, trend-forecasting sites and fashion stores. I also take inspiration from my daily life, whether it's an art exhibition I've visited or simply some flowers I've spotted in a garden. I also love to travel and often find inspiration in the architecture, fashion and culture of other countries.
After moving from London, I am now based in my hometown of Brighton where I can often be found outside walking along the seafront or out on my stand-up paddle board.
