About me

I am a Graduate Fashion student from Manchester Metropolitan University. I am very interested in the design process as well as your design philosophy and research to how you create your final collections. I think I would gain a lot from you and valuable work experience with your company.

I am an exciting and motivated person. I enjoy learning new things and challenging myself to push boundaries within and out of fashion design. I like to look at research that is outside of fashion design for example historical achieves. When not doing fashion I enjoy travelling, sports and watching creative YouTube Web series.

I have been sewing and pattern cutting since high school, so I feel confident enough with these elements of my course, however there is always room for improvements and pushing these skills further. I am confident with Photoshop/Illustrator, however I prefer hand drawing prints and technical drawings. Print has always been a big part of my work, using graphics, illustrations and historical achieve as big inspirations for my print.

My projects have a lot of different influences particularly from graphic print, historical archives and conceptual narrative for my muse. In my last project I used deconstruction and generic garments as big influences. I feel I am a unisex designer; a lot of my work can be translated in to menswear, though I feel I am best suited for menswear print design.

Have interned with companies like George Davis in his Photography studio helping with styling for their photo-shoots and fashion film as well helping with the design team in the womenswear department. I have also interned with design Jane Carr, a printed accessories designer for Men's and Women's Accessories. I worked with the design team on their A/W15 COLLECTION. I was closely involved with their press release event at the end of the month, which was launching their A/W collection. Design Internship Mirjam Rouden. I worked with the design team focusing on print design for Premier Vision 2015 collection. I helped with screen-printing and preparations for new fabric samples for new buyers.
