With reference to your advertisement, I would like to apply for the position of Middleweight Graphic Designer.

I am qualified in Graphic Design and have been working within the industry since 2004. I currently work as a Graphic Designer for Raleigh Cycles based in Nottingham. During my time with them I have had the opportunity to work on most of their large portfolio of brands, which includes Diamondback Bikes. I was given the challenge of completely re-branding Diamondback for the European market; this consisted of a new logo, website design, bike range and all associated marketing material. Raleigh and Diamondback regularly advertise in many major national cycling and sports publications (on and off-line) so I am often tasked with coming up with new concepts and designs for campaigns. These could be printed or animated adverts for web.

I now feel I need to move on to new challenges which will inspire and stretch my imagination further. Having worked as a valuable team member in a small but busy design studio for many years, I believe I would be an ideal candidate for this role.
