About Sophie
With a strong academic background in English Literature, which culminated in an English degree from The University of Exeter, I am highly skilled in grammar, spelling and creating captivating content. With this talent, I have created content for premium high street retailers, such as The Perfume Shop, Staples and Real Gap. In these roles, I have produced press releases, magazine articles, social media campaigns, web content and product descriptions. I am well able to write in different tone of voice to ensure written content is true to the brand vision.
At The Perfume Shop, I was responsible for all Social Media content, as well as writing CRM emails and web content. In this role, I was responsible in staying true to the brand voices of luxury designer names such as Gucci, Prada, Versace and Paco Rabanne, as well ensuring our message of affordability and availability were also heard. I was highly successful in this role, creating engaging prose and campaigns- I trended 4 times in 5 months and had over 5.1 million people organically interact with my Facebook Christmas campaign. I recently left the role to go travelling and have relocated to London. I am ideally now looking for a content writing role.
