About me
In the past year I have created work which ranges from 60 second instagram stories for Converse LDN with aesthetics and design at its core to a 45 minutes film for Brainchild festival which emphasised community and music in the brief. My history of work is varied and I love a challenge.
Last year I graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London, with a First Class Honours in my degree of Media and Communications. My course allowed me to specialise and exercise my passion in documentary filmmaking, allowing me to exhibit my drive for producing educational, thought provoking and stylistic content. My graduate film was around the decriminalisation of sex work. The film was to be a space for magazinilzed people to share their voice and story.
Technically, I can work on a variety of kit (Sony Sf5, Canon 5D, Lumix GH5, DEDO lights) and editing softwares (AVID, Premiere Pro, Final Cut 7, Photoshop, Indesign). I enjoy the pressure of time management and working to deadlines, although I am independently driven, when working on such projects, time frames allow me to push my creativity and form the best outcome within this boundary.
Throughout my studies and history of employment within the British film industry I have also been working within the arts and design sector. During my internship with the design company Ademchic Ltd in 2018, working to their brief, I became a very successful transporter of the company's vision, as I could quickly and accurately film, edit and then share the required content and tailor it to each specific platform (Youtube, Instagram, Facebook). Alongside this I had a duty to stay in regular communication with the director of the company in relation to their PR, marketing and branding due to the responsibility of being in charge of curating the visual-media content.
