Dear the Recruitment Team,

I am applying for the available position as Junior Designer.

Creative, ambitious and committed, I bring experience in branding, marketing and design, an Upper Second Class Honours in BA Graphic Design and certificate in Copyright Law.

Currently working part-time and remotely as Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer for SDRR Hydraulics and Industrial Spares, I am in charge of all aspects of design within the company in both digital and print media. I joined SDRR full-time in October 2010 where I oversaw the redevelopment and redesign of the corporate identity from idea though to completion with a new logo, website and print communications before taking on the role part-time and remotely the following October.

As the sole in-house designer, I work on everyday idea creation, development and design of marketing strategies and visual communications while liaising of external photographers and printers. Working to set brand guidelines, I deal with the design of a diverse range of print and digtial media from promotional and advertisement to informational brochures, manuals and handbooks for varied products.

I further developed my skills in the Adobe Creative Suite in its entirety, communication, organisation, time management and attention to detail to a high standard through the study of BA(Hons) Graphic Design at the University of the Creative Arts. Set briefs required me to touch upon all aspects of design, challenging and developing my creative thinking, working and designing to produce a well-rounded designer in all aspects.
