Dear Sirs,

My name is Sophie Dark; I am 26 years old and specialize in Accessory design and traditional Leather craft.

At present I work as an assistant handbag designer for Kurt Geiger London and have experience working on seasonal collections from start to finish. I manage lab dips, approval of production samples and advise factories on construction/colour improvements to be made. I liaise with factories daily and keep a consistent and trusting relationship with them.

Previous to my design experience I worked 3 years in Leather workshops, learning the trade to a professional standard. This role included pattern cutting, prototyping and the final making of bespoke leather goods orders.

I graduated from Ravensbourne University London in 2017 where I studied Fashion accessory design & prototyping. My collection was also in the Graduate fashion week and won the accessory design award for that year.
