About me
I am an Interior, Spatial and Graphic Designer and have recently completed my masters in ‘Creative Practice for Narrative Environments' from Central Saint Martins.
Through my work experience that spans over 5 years and my education, I have been a part of many projects as a project manager and a producer. I have industry experience of working as a Interior and Graphic Designer in freelance projects in Greece. I was also a part of the production team in a TV design series in Greece. During my studies in Central Saint Martins, I have worked on live projects with Royal Festival Hall and CSM in curating and designing an exhibition in the ‘China Now' London week. Apart from this I have the opportunity to experience how an exhibition team in a museum works, when I did my placement in Science Museum of London.
My keen interest lies in working and collaborating with creative practitioners on projects at a design and managerial position and my background in art and design helps me further interact and understand the work at hand.
As part of a team during my Master's degree, I curate an exhibition for ‘China Now', which was held in London on March 2008. It was a success and I was highly commended for my effort and contributions. I was involved in a Live Project at the Royal Festival Hall. The Spirit Level Project was developed and ran in collaboration with learning and participation at the Southbank Centre.
Another strong experience was my internship in the 'Design Department' in 'Science Museum'. I had the opportunity in working in a large-scale museum in the capital of Europe. Although I was there for a sort period of time I had the chance to follow the work, preparation and opening of a new exhibition space. I was given, also, the liberty of researching on an old 'gallery' in the museum and develop a report to renovate it, winning a sponsorship for the project.
I have also gain vital experience - that can be essential for this role as Project Manager - assisting with the production of a weekly TV show. I worked closely with the producer, the set designers and coordinating the cross departmental teams to ensure every schedule was executed on time with no delays. This involved immaculate organisation skills, which I applied to succeed. My experience on the TV show production strengthened my insight and understanding of construction, design and risk assessment and management procedures.
My involvement on the production of the weekly TV show ‘Dimougies' involved various on-location shoots which I had to co-ordinate telephone calls, emails and meetings with people from various disciplines ranging from architects, interior designers, fashion, style and even community contributors. Since most of the shots for the programme was done on-site, I was negotiating with community-based partners and local residents.
My experience working with a wide range team has been broadened by my many experiences on various sets for the TV show - meeting new people and developing relationships instantly - and working with a multi-national team in my MA course.
I have worked with multi-disciplinary teams with professionals from different backgrounds at a global level. I have also had the opportunity of being part of trans-disciplinary teams and working closely with architects, urban planners, engineers, artists, researchers, filmmakers and journalists. Most of my work and my area of interest lies in investigating relationships between people and their environment. My work forges collaboration between design, sciences, psychology and other related and non-related fields of art and design. I have the qualities for good problem-solving and analytical skills with a balanced critical approach to project management and time management.
I have 2D and 3D skills working on CAD and Graphics software applications, with creative model making and sketching skills. I have produced 2 short films for a research project on visitors experience which can be viewed on You Tube and on my website - *. That experience cultivated my understanding of working with new media. Furthermore, I have experience producing user-friendly interactive applications, which encourage participation by museum visitors.

I feel that a collaboration with your company would be satisfied by my diverse experiences, work ethics and hard work.
