Here’s what I was able to produce in roughly 10 days using various YouTube tutorials and partially pre-made fruit assets. The Martini and Negroni glasses I modeled from tutorials as well.

 

 

 

I think the result turned out pretty good for a first attempt. What do you think? Will they hire me as an assistant bartender if AI takes our jobs?

 

 

 

Now it’s time for the most exciting part, enhancing and expanding the environment of my composition using AI.

 

I chose Google’s Flow, where I could generate both videos and still images in one place. I highly recommend starting with it for anyone who’s new to AI. There are so many tools of different complexity now that sometimes my head hurts from how fast everything is changing. Veo and Nano Banana seemed the most intuitive and easy to use for achieving quick, acceptable results.

 

Let’s take a look at what I managed to create in Veo 3.1.

In the prompt, I specified that I wanted liquid to pour from above while maintaining all the details inside the cocktail. With depth of field and a bokeh effect.

I think the liquid turned out quite convincing, with small bubbles and even a bit of foam on the surface. For an AI beginner, I’d say it looks pretty good, although I’m sure Houdini could do even better. But the whole process took less than a minute! For a rough animation or concept, that’s an incredibly fast result.

Then I switched to Nano Banana to create a new composition based on references from Pinterest.

Let’s see what I got.

 

Conclusion: I’m definitely going to keep expanding my creative boundaries by combining AI tools with traditional 3D. For me, it’s primarily about the speed of generating ideas, building concepts, and quickly testing what works and what doesn’t.

 

This experiment turned out exactly like that a personal exploration of whether we should fear AI or embrace it as a tool. I’ll leave that choice to everyone individually.
