About me

Sina Bowyer is a screenwriter and producer and the CEO of Red Rug Productions. She graduated with a Masters in Screenwriting from Royal Holloway, University of London after earlier intensive study with writing coach/producer Hal Croasmun via the Screenwriting Pro-series and Masterclasses in Los Angeles. Sina has written and produced Crude, a short eco-thriller, budget £16,000, shot in London, that won Best Foreign Featurette at Idyllwild Film Festival in California 2014. Crude has had nominations at 12 other international film festivals, and is screening on Shorts TV and Indieflix, as well as being scheduled for a competition screening in the Marche du Film at the 2016 Cannes.

Sina has recently been a producer for a satire about hair products sponsored by Dazed and the ICA, with a Channel Four screening scheduled for late spring. She is also an executive producer on a short Gothic drama Through the Mirror Darkly and worked additionally as a script supervisor on these two short films.
