About me
Simone was born in 1989 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Around the age of 6, Simone and her family moved to Portugal, having lived in Braga, Viseu and Lisbon, where she now resides.
Since she was little, Simone enjoyed drawing and doodling her most deepest thoughts, as well as explore her evergrowing sense of humor. Allied to this growing interest for Illustration, she was also into Science, so she chose to pursue an Engineering degree in Universidade Nova de Lisboa and afterwards, enrol in the Illustration for the New Media at ETIC.
Throughout the years she has participated in both solo and group exhibitions, while engaging in different projects that challenge her illustration skills. Simone's illustration experience goes from social causes, culture&arts mags, fashion brands, book illustrations, tattoos, custom-made/weekly cartoons, event posters, educational posters/content, tech company content, to many others.
Her easygoing and innate sense of humour finds her way into everything she does.
