About me

Hello. I am a multi-skilled designer currently looking for work and experience within the creative industry.

My original training was in industrial design at Northumbria University where I gained valuable insight into the world of design and built a sound technical knowledge. I continued at Northumbria to complete an MA where I specialized in sustainable design before taking the financially motivated move into teaching. This vastly improved my confidence and presentation skills and I now feel able to forge my way forward in the design world.

Towards this end, I have designed my own range of furniture (seen at *) which I have been marketing and selling. Although the business is going well, it has always been my intention to gain employment within design.

I am passionate about all forms of design and architecture and have transferable skills which lend themselves to packaging, product and 3D design.
