About me

I come from a Fine Arts background and have been working creatively with video and time-based media since 1996. A strong eye for design coupled with industry experience of technical processes allows me to work accurately and calmly in broadcast and production environments. My flexible approach to visual problem-solving can bring a client's idea to life and covers a variety of graphic styles and techniques. I can create and develop original concepts from scratch or take style cues from existing material and deliver an integrated solution. My main proficiency is creating graphic content, primarily with After Effects. I also handle compositing for live action; 3D animated elements using Lightwave; cartoon style animation using Flash and traditional techniques; branding
and corporate design. I provide content for broadcast, DVD and interactive platforms.

I am available for short or medium term contracts, on individual projects and providing cover for full-time staff. I have my own equipment and software and can work on or off-site as needed. Based in London with high speed broadband, but willing to consider suitable contracts worldwide.

My medium term focus is on developing an illustration and animation portfolio with an aim to working on collaborative arts and media projects particularly in the fields of fine art and film.
