About me

I am an honest, friendly and confident person with over 14 year's commercial experience working in London and Peterborough, for both large and small companies in the print and digital media sector. During this time I have learnt valuable skills in a project's life cycle from research and development to design and marketing.
At heart I am a really creative person with strong communication and business skills, which as a result, has enabled me to work on a variety of challenging projects for companies like GlaxoSmithKline, Ford Motor Company, Thomas Burberry, Bjork, Lancashire County Council, Generator Systems and the Environment Agency to name but a few.

During the last 4 years I have worked on many print, web, software and online marketing projects, the most recent being my very own social and business networking website * which has taken 17 months from the initial planning stage to the official 23 September launch. And with no marketing budget just my skills to rely on the site has already received over 48,000 visits and well over 1 million page views. And also due the nature of this user content generating website, Plugin2 is now ranked very highly on Google. So, this website is a good reflection of my current skills and understanding of Open Source technology such as Joomla, design, branding, search engine optimisation, viral & online marketing and social media technology.

At present, Plugin2 is a free local service to the residents, businesses and charities of Peterborough. So, in order to help support myself and my family financially I am looking for freelance, contract or consultancy work either in print or digital media on a day rate which is open to negotiation. I am very confident that my experience in design, innovation, marketing and IT will benefit businesses wishing to increase their online or offline presence which will help generate enquiries and ultimately increase sales revenue.
