Dear Sir/Madam,

I have seen the job vacancy and am interested in the position.

I am a hard worker and have had vast experience working as a team to complete tasks. Due to my experience in film production, I have learnt how vital it is to work together and communicate well in order to achieve a task. I have also learnt management skills allowing myself to prioritise and allocate certain time to certain jobs. I have strong leadership skills, but also know how to take orders and complete the jobs required of me.

Despite graduating with a First in Film Production, my course was inevitably related to Graphic Design with several modules dedicated to it. I have had several freelance jobs as a Graphic Designer and so I am comfortable designing professionally. While at college and University, every project would ultimately require design elements e.g. DVD covers, posters, props, advertisement, which I created personally.

I believe I have skills and talents that I can bring to your company and ultimately fill the position as a successful candidate. I am fluent in the use of Adobe Photoshop and have used Illustrator.

P.S. As this is a movie based position, I have attached a promotional poster for a short film parody I created of the blockbuster movie Inception. It is very similar to the original poster but features our actors instead.
