About me

Until recently, I have been working as Graphic Designer at TickTock
Books, but due to the company downsizing I am now looking for a new
challenge.TickTock publishes children’s pre-school, novelty,
trade/gift non-fiction and fiction. While there, I was instrumental in
creating the new 2010 list, contributing new ideas and monitoring
schedules and budgets.

I also played a key role in developing new design approaches and
strategies, finding and commissioning illustrators and overseeing
freelance designers. In previous employment I had gained experience of
working within graphic design, signage, web design and marketing. I
also brought this knowledge to TickTock. I have six years experience of
working within the design industry, and almost three years in the
publishing industry, and I am keen to build on my experience. My
