Dear Sir/ Madam

My name is Simon Fantauzzo and I'm applying for the role of copy writer at your company.

I have always been interested in copy writing and have wanted to become involved in this profession for sometime and feel that this job would be an ideal position that would cater to my strengths.

For the past ten years I have been working in the media industry, often as a writer for feature films where I have had three of my scripts produced and two more taken into development by international companies.

As well as the actual development of the scripts I have also had to write treatments and synopsis in order to sell the ideas to producers and agents.

My work has often included writing the copy for production packages and press kits that have been sent out to various media outlets in order to make the film more desirable to both financiers and the general public.

I am also part of a production company called Face Films whose website I keep updated with news and stories concerning our activities. All the text on these pages has been submitted by me and you can see my work here at *.

Though my experience in advertising is slight I do believe that over the years I have developed a skill set that I feel could be transferred into this position and if I was given the opportunity to demonstrate my suitability for this role you would not be let down.
