Hi there, I found this introductory paragraph really hard to write - don't get me wrong I'm not often lost for words and I'm far from shy but this small statement has to be so many things. It has to reflect my personality, create the 'right' first impression, be informative - but not too long and highlight my skills without making me sound egocentric. I like to think of this statement as a textual handshake. So, how do you do
At present I work as a design and marketing specialist in a non-creative organisation and although the role is challenging and rewarding I don't get the same kind of buzz as I would if surrounded by like-minded creatives. I'm in no doubt that I would become a more creative designer working in the right environment as part of a team.
