Dear Sir/Madam,

For many years it has been my ambition to further my career abroad, namely in the United Kingdom. For the last nine months I have been setting myself up financially for the task, and in the next month I arrive in London. I am a talented and strong willed individual looking for my next position in a Visual Merchandising role.

In my tertiary study and previous roles as a Visual Merchandiser, I have obtained all the necessary skills to portray merchandise in unique, eye-catching and effective manners. These skills, along with my knowledge of current trends and brands, and matched with my own innate style have created a personal aesthetic which would be well suited to your company. Previous employers have commented on my work ethic, my eye for detail and my individual approach.

Having studied Fashion Business, I believe I understand business processes and this helps me maximise all opportunities for any company I work for. As a creative and visual person, I think it is important that nay choices that are made are supported with analysis and evidence that will best benefit sales, and the company. In all my work, I endeavour to keep up to date with current trends from the catwalk, fashion icons and street trends in order to be proactive with the target customer. My work history has included the development and training of team members. In my experience I believe that a positive atmosphere in the workplace is undoubtedly a huge factor in working together as a team and meeting tough deadlines, resulting in increases in morale and profits.

My personal life motto is be inspired and become inspiring, and with this philosophy I believe I can assist in upholding the high standards of the company, and be beneficial in any future expansion.
