About me

I believe design starts with the right questions. Understanding the client, the brief, the demographic and the culture has to be the starting point. Only when this has been understood can creative pathways and design skills be applied to produce the most effective outcomes.

My name is Simon Buckland and I have been the Lead Designer at Blink Studio for the last two years. My time there has enabled me to take the lead on a variety of projects in various disciplines, ranging from dealing with small start up companies to multi national corporations. Working within a small agency has provided me with the opportunity to learn from people with differing skills and strengths, whilst developing these individuals into a cohesive team.
