About me
Simeon is an award-winning screenwriter and director based in London. Since graduating with a BA [Hons] Film degree from the University for the Creative Arts, he has worked for several film companies, most recently as a founding member of Quirky Motion. Simeon's portfolio includes numerous music promos, documentaries and commercials for a range of clients. As a writer, he has eleven screenplays and a couple of TV series on spec. He is currently in partnership with US company to develop one of his features into a limited series.
After Simeon's film pitch won a UK-wide competition, Simeon wrote and directed the film Derelict, starring Israel Oyelumade (Pirates of the Caribbean, Dirty Pretty Things), Graham Cole (The Bill, Law & Order) and Andrew Harrison (Beyond Narnia, An Ideal Husband).
Alongside his production company has been working successfully as a freelance director. In this capacity, he has made further films, including Éluder, The Proposal, Hush and The Way We're Wired, which have been well-received on the festival circuit. He has also completed a Directorship on an ITV production with the accomplished Director Ian Knox.
Prior to his years at university, he gained experience in the TV and animation industry with companies such as Action Time and Animus. Following university, he worked freelance in a number of companies including, Bermuda Shorts, Pagan TV, and IDEO.
