Simon leads Cheil's Retail Experience operations globally. The agency is most famous for creating the Tesco Homeplus virtual store in a Seoul Subway and it's partnership with Samsung, that has helped the electronics company create a top 10 global brand with significant presence in retail.
He joined Cheil in 2012 from Saatchi & Saatchi X where he was EMEA CEO and Chairman of their Worldwide Creative Board. He is a recognised authority on shopper marketing and regular speaker at industry events, he has 20 years in marketing and experience in almost every discipline, but is particularly adept in the world of retail.
Simon is serving Chairman of the Marketing Agencies Association, the UK's leading body for future-thinking marketing communications agencies. He believes that the creative industries must transform to survive and become more open and diverse, removing prejudice towards people, background, discipline and media.
