About me

Siddhesh Khatavkar is an Executive Creative Director at McCann India, Mumbai. A graduate of one of the country's most prestigious art schools, Siddhesh began his career in gaming before transitioning into advertising.

Over the past 20 years, he has worked with some of India's leading creative agencies, including Rediffusion Y&R and Publicis. His body of work spans across iconic global and Indian brands such as McDonald's, Diageo, Wall's Ice Cream, Sunsilk, Johnson & Johnson, IPL, and many others.

Siddhesh is drawn to ideas that are simple yet powerful work that not only solves business problems but also makes the world more inclusive and diverse. He is constantly in search of such ideas.

In 2022, his work won the Spikes Asia Grand Prix, playing a key role in DDB Mudra Group becoming the first Indian agency to be named Asia Pacific Agency of the Year, as well as India's Agency of the Year.

His work has since been recognised at leading global award shows including Spikes Asia, ADFEST, The One Show, Cannes Lions, London International Awards, WARC, D&AD, Kyoorius, Effies, and more.

His McDonald's campaign, EatQual, has gone on to become a permanent inclusivity-led brand platform.

Beyond his work, Siddhesh has served as a jury member at several prestigious award shows such as The One Show, New York Festivals Advertising Awards, Adfest, D&AD New Blood, and MAD Stars.

When he's not thinking about ideas, Siddhesh is an enthusiastic, self-proclaimed terrarium designer.
