About me
I am currently the production/design manager for a retail mail order company. I manage and schedule the work for a small department of designers and copywriters. We design catalogues, direct mail, retail window displays, instore POS and advertising. It is very much a 'hands on' role and I also oversee the whole design process from presenting initial concepts to production to passing each job on press.
I liaise between the buying & merchandising teams, the directors, copywriters and the designers, I buy the print and mailing for each publication and ensure each part of the production meets the final deadline.
I am looking to further my career in a 'hands on' design or production management role.
