About me

I am a skilled, university educated web developer and designer, with industry experience designing and developing sites using PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Flash / Actionscript. I have worked on many different projects, E-commerce sites, blogs, real estate advertising, art galleries and community groups. Along with having a good design sense, I am able to quickly develop design ideas that I come up with or that are provided to me by a design team into full functioning, cross-browser compatible websites and applications that take advantage of the latest developments and trends in web design / development.

I have extensive experience with Flash and have completed many different projects using OOP actionscript classes, XML in flash, scripted and timeline animation. I also have experience wth incorporating and encoding audio and video content using flash to create rich media sites. In my previous roles as a developer I have worked worked on flash games, animated banners and advertisments.

My experience in web design and development has also encompassed various HTML, PHP, CSS and javascript solutions for e-commerce, art galleries and real estate clients. I have worked with existing CMS and shopping cart systems, as well as developing small scale CMS and shopping carts using PHP and SQL for clients with smaller requirements.

In the past I have worked as a member of a team in a studio environment and I have also worked as a freelance contractor.
