About me
The success and interest I have encountered during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies have confirmed my interest in pursuing a job in design, publishing, print or advertising sectors.
During the graphic design course studies I have learned design principles from research, design process to visual language. My works involved varied aspects not only print based design also motion graphic (eg. design for TV identities). I have a keen interest in the wide world of design, but my main graphic design interests are publishing/book design, branding and packaging, also I have a healthy interest in illustration, which has provided a major influence on my design works.
Throughout my education, I have been heavily involved with art and design, including undertaking a commissioned packaging design work for Allmi-Care development Ltd and participating the ' Design UK ' Chinese students art/design work exhibition in China. Many of these experiences have benefited me in areas to the subject itself, in face-to-face communication skills and team working for example. Also this gave me the confidence to develop my learning in a mature and focused way.
Traveling abroad and especially studying in a foreign country has broadened my perspective on life. It has helped me to be more independent and self-confident. This, and exploring different cultures in general - is an enriching experience, which I feel provides a great source of inspiration.
