I am an experienced picture editor, researcher and account manager who has worked for a host of leading titles including TNT Magazine, The Sun, Shortlist Magazine, The Telegraph and The Press Association.

My core editorial responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating pictures, budget management, commissioning (including fee and rights negotiation), as well as directing photo shoots. I have also career developed and overseen all management for junior picture researchers and internships.

Additional tasks include ordering high-resolution images, agreeing exclusive and non-exclusive fees, signing off proofs, checking cromalins, captioning and maintaining high standards of image quality.

I actively encourage the use of picture research best price guidelines and always use agencies that do not charge research fees and assist in web searches.

By ensuring all administrative procedures I develop are adhered to and all fees, terms and conditions are agreed in advance I am able to run my department effectively and efficiently.
